Sharon Plante serves as Director of Education and Instructional Technology at The Southport School. She uses her Structured Literacy training and understanding of technology to empower students with learning disabilities in the classroom and through virtual learning. Sharon has conducted workshops for Kent Independent School District, Pennsylvania Department of Education, Assistive Technology International Association, and The Dyslexia Foundation, incorporating best practices in professional development. Additionally, she has led virtual training for Learning Ally, International Dyslexia Association, PaTTAN, and Rehab Seminars. Sharon is the co-author of Utilizing Technology to Engage Students with Learning Disabilities.
